·         The personally identifiable information collected by NWPS or by any third party through our site;

·         The use of this information;

·         Sharing this information;

·         Choices that are available to you with respect to collection, use, and distribution of the information;

·         The security procedures in place to protect the loss, misuse, or alteration of this information; and

·         Correcting any inaccuracies in the information.

1.         Information Collection and Use

AHI may collect information from you on the site in two different ways.  First, we may collect anonymous, aggregate information (such as domain name or IP address).  By using the site, you give us your permission to collect this information.  This type of information is never linked to any personally identifiable information and is only used in the aggregate to generate statistical reports about the use of our site.

Second, we will request you update your company’s after-hours contact information as often as you feel necessary.  This information includes employee names and their after-hours contact information, your company’s value-added services, your company’s “800” telephone numbers and your company’s website address (“Published Information”).  By providing the Published Information, you give us permission to collect this information, publish it on our web site, and make it available to our subscribers.  You also represent and warrant that you have the authority and permission to provide this information and to make it public, and agree to indemnify, defend, and hold AHI harmless from and against any and all claims, demands, liabilities, damages, fines, losses, costs (including the cost of compliance with any governmental order) and expenses (including attorneys’ fees at trial, on appeal and in connection with any petition for review) arising out of or in any way related to Published Information provided by you.

Also, when you contact us by email, we may collect your email address and any other personal information you provide.  Likewise, when you sign up for subscription services, emails, or updates, we may collect and retain your name, address, telephone number, and/or email address.  We may also collect credit card or other payment information together with the details of your order for subscription services, and you give us permission to share that information with third parties such as a bank or the credit card company for purposes of processing the order.  We may collect and retain any other personally identifiable information that you voluntarily submit through the site.

2.         Cookies

A cookie is a small piece of data that is sent to your browser from a web server and stored on your computer’s hard drive.  Cookies store information about your use of a particular web site or service and are typically used to make services more convenient and personalized.  We may use anonymous cookies called “session cookies” to measure traffic patterns to areas of our site and to features mentioned in our newsletter.  Session cookies are created each time you visit one of our sites, and do not remain on your computer after you leave the site.  We use personalized cookies when you have registered as a member, to customize your user experience.  Personalized cookies are linked to your personal information and remain on your computer after you leave our site.

3.         Personal Information of Children Under 13

AHI complies with the requirements of the Childrens Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the FTC’s Rule interpreting COPPA (16 CFR § 512).  This site is not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect any personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age through this site.

4.         Use of Your Personal Information

AHI will use the Published Information as part of the services it offers by publishing such information on the web site.  By submitting Published Information, you agree that we may provide this information to our subscribers, and the subscribers may contact you by using the information you have provided.  We are not responsible for our subscribers’ use of your Published Information.

AHI will not use your credit card or other financial account information except to process your order.  AHI does not sell, rent, or share customer information to or with any third party not affiliated with or owned by AHI, except trusted third parties who provide services to us including without limitation data storage and order processing.  AHI will never give or sell your personal information to be used for the purposes of sending you unsolicited commercial offers (spam) from any third party.  We will not ourselves use your personal information to send you unsolicited commercial offers.  However, we may need to contact you for purposes other than marketing.  For example, we may need to contact you regarding the status of the AHI site or your account.  You may not opt-out of these kinds of communications.

5.         Use of Aggregate Information

We store information that we collect through log files to create a profile of our users.  A “profile” is stored information detailing how individual customers use the site.  It is used solely for internal purposes, to help us improve the experience of users of the site.  Log files record internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser types, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, platform type, date/time stamp, and number of clicks to analyze trends, administer the site, track a user’s movement in the aggregate, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use.  IP addresses, etc. are not linked to personally identifiable information.  We may share your profile with a third party who assists us in processing and analyzing aggregated information.

6.         Disclosure of Personal Information As Required By Law

We will disclose personal information when required by law, or if we have a good-faith belief that such action is necessary to (a) comply with a current judicial proceeding, a court order or legal process served on us, (b) protect and defend our rights, or (c) protect the rights, property, and other interests of our users or others.

7.         Business Transitions

In the event AHI goes through a business transition, such as a merger, acquisition by another company, or sale of a portion of its assets, personal information of users collected through this site may be part of the assets transferred.  The information transferred or shared remains subject to the promises made in any previously applicable privacy policy, unless you agree to new terms.

8.         Links

9.         Security

AHI takes commercially reasonable precautions to protect any personal information collected through this site.  However, given the nature of the internet and the fact that network security measures are not infallible, we cannot guarantee the security of your information.  When registering for access to a secure area of the site, we will ask you to select a username and password.  We recommend that you do not divulge your password to anyone.  We will never ask you for your password in an unsolicited phone call or in an unsolicited email.  Also, remember to sign out of the registered site and close your browser window when you have finished your work.  This is to ensure that others cannot access your personal information and correspondence when accessing your computer.

10.        Correcting, Updating, Deleting and Deactivating Personal Information

If your personally identifiable information changes, you may contact us to correct, update or delete and deactivate our record of your personally identifiable information.

11.       Notification of Changes

If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post the changes here so our users are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it. If, however, we propose to use your personally identifiable information in a manner materially different from that stated at the time of collection, we will notify you by email and by posting a notice on this site.  However, you are responsible for ensuring we have a current working email address for you.  If the email address you have given us is incorrect or no longer operable, we will have no further obligation to notify you apart from posting the notice on our site.
